Dosage of Nandrolone Decanoate Norma >  300 up to 600 / week.

-Contraindications:
Hepatic impairment, prostate cancer or breast cancer in men, history of throembolism and pregnancy. Administration of nandrolone for increasing childrens height is not recommended because, due to the primary convocation of epiphysis caused, the final height may remain the same or even decrease. Administration of nandrolone as a tonic medicine or for increasing body weight is rejected. The use of nandrolone from athletes is forbidden due to serious adverse effects.

-Special Warnings and Precautions for Use

-In renal and cardiac impairment, hypertension, epilepsy or migraine (or in patients with history of these diseases) because nandrolone and anabolic steroids in general can cause retention of water and sodium.
-In diabetes mellitus or latent diabetes, because nandrolone and anabolic steroids in general are possible to reduce the need for insulin or other antidiabetic medicines.
-In breast cancer in women and bone metastasis, since anabolic steroids may cause hypercalcemia and hypercalcuria.

-Interaction with other Medicines and other forms of Interaction
It enhances the action of corticosteroids, insulin, oral antidiabetics, oral anticoagulants, oxyphenylobutazone, so reduction of the dose is required.
When nandrolone is administered in conjuction with an oral anticoagulant, frequent monitoring of prothrombin time is required.
During administration of nandrolone with medicines causing induction of hepatic enzymes such as rifampicin, barbiturates, carbamazepine, dichloralphenazone, phenytoin or primidone, decrease in the therapeutic result of nandrolone may be observed.

-Undesirable Effects
High doses during prolonged treatment and/or frequent administration causes androgenecity, which in sensitive women is displayed with voice changes, acne, hypertrichosis, increase of libido (priaprism in boys and clitoris hypertrophy in girls). Voice changes in girls can be permanent. If androgenecity is observed, treatment should be discontinued.
